He was a Lieutenant Commander who served under Picard on the StarGazer. He was the father of Wesley Crusher and the husband to Beverly. He died on an away mission.
He recorded a holographic message for Wesley when he reached his eighteenth birthday. Jack taught Wesley baseball as he was growing up.
